For the past couple of years we have been engaged in helping our local community grow by giving back to groups and projects that speak to us. We've been fortunate enough to have been approached by schools, zoos, and local cities to work on projects that will better their community.
Each year we donate hundreds of fall decorations and decorate Gomes School of New Bedford for their Fall Festival.
We created an irrigation system for the elephant habitat at the Buttonwood Park Zoo focused on recycling the unused drinking water.
We worked with the City of New Bedford to help with Custom House Square Park.
We are building raised beds at every elementary school in New Bedford to help the Marion Institutes Grow Education program bring healthy fresh foods to the city schools.
As we said, we have been fortunate. Our past projects have fallen into our laps. We want to do all we can to make sure each year we give back. If you know of a group doing community work or you are orchestrating works of your own that will better the community around you let us know! If we can, we will donate our time, materials, ideas, or guidance to help you help the community.
